Future Cougar

American Blonde Ale

Chris Brown, Mayor of the Holy City Flavor Jungle, is a proud alumnus of The College of Charleston. One can of course find other alumni working in various industries here in Charleston - it's a hard city to leave. But some do leave, staking their claim across the country and taking their Cougar pride with them.

And so, at the Great American Beer Festival, it came to pass that four CofC alumni, all professional brewers, came together to brew a beer honoring their alma mater. Future Cougar, a hoppy, peach blonde collaboration beer from Left Hand Brewing, Breakside Brewery, Charleston's own Revelry Brewing, and ourselves was first brewed at Left Hand. The recipe remains fairly consistent, with a few tweaks to each version.

Holy City's version of Future Cougar sports peach purée and housemade graham cracker added to the brite tank. Think light peach cookie and you're on the right track.

Loyal sons and daughters love thee, indeed.
