Cupcake Camp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and eat cupcakes for FREE in an open environment.
Cupcake Camp originated in San Francisco by Ariel Waldman, Lynn, Marianne Masculino and Cindy Li. Cupcake Camp promotes a true spirit of community and sharing, and Cupcake Camps now happen around the world and come in a wide variety of flavors and sizes. The most essential feature of a Cupcake Camp is that it brings together people to share their love of cupcakes!
There are many different ways to participate in Cupcake Camp Charleston:
1. Bring cupcakes to share.
2. Volunteer to help out at the event.
3. You can become a sponsor if your company loves the idea and wants to be a part of the community.
4. Come and eat cupcakes!
This year we are at Holy City Brewing, 4155 C Dorchester Road, Charleston, SC 29405, November 15, 2014, 3-5 pm. This year's Charity is Darkness To Light . The ultimate mission of D2L, to end childhood sexual abuse, can only be accomplished by sharing the solution of prevention, awareness and education with more and more people. This, in turn, builds momentum and over time, changes the way our nation and culture cares for, protects and nurtures our children. Being an active participant in the mission to end childhood sexual abuse is one of the most rewarding things we will ever do – and we cannot do it without you.
