Beer Mile World Classic 2016

Sun, Jul 31 - 10:00 - 8:00

We are sponsoring Caitlin Judd in the Beer Mile World Classic again this year! It will be held in London, England!

What is a Beer Mile? 4 beers, 4 laps.

What is the BMWC2016?  The Beer Mile World Classic is the World's Premier Drinking Race.  Part athletics meet, part beer festival, the BMWC is like a party on a running track.  It is both a serious competition and a ridiculous sport.

The event is an all-day festival of open entry beer mile races, club heats, relays, fun runs, craft beer tasting, food, music, and general revelry in sport and brew.  The headline event is the Championship Race, in which 10 Nations will compete for the Kingston (Men's) and Queens (Women's) Cup.    The race will feature every world record holder since the formalisation of the sport.

In 2015, the World Classic in San Francisco was the most watched track race in the world.  Over 280 people raced there first beer mile, and another 1000 folks watched their friends.  This year's event in London will be the biggest beer mile in history.

Before the Champion Race is takes center stage, the day is all about bringing good people together, in common love for beer and running.

The Americans...the Austalians...the Canadians are coming.  Can you drink with them?
