Abbey Gets Piked

We originally brewed our Abbey ale for Abbey, Josh Pike’s loving wife, and her long-time place of employment, Poe’s Tavern on Sullivan’s Island. This isn’t the normal version of our brown belgian ale, though. We put this one into whiskey barrels, to make this style of beer truly something special. Alongside of the dark malt notes and gum-ball notes characteristic of a Belgian, there are hints of booze, caramel and vanilla from the barrel-aging process. Come get Piked with us!
