In September of 2018, we teamed up with local folk-rockers The Artisanals to brew a sweet Oktoberfest lager that was amber in color, crisp on the palate and tasty on the tongue. We got exactly what we set out for, and we call it Angel 40 Brew after one of their stellar new rock tracks from their debut album, “Angel-42.”

We used traditional German malts to make this beer like the brews of olden times. Vienna, Munich, Melanoidin and Caramunich malts give this beer its body and soul. We used some age-old german staples, Magnum and Hallertau Mittlefruh to give it a nice, smooth backend bite. The beer comes off nutty, and it’s smooth on the tongue and the back of the throat, making this an easy-drinking Oktoberfest lager that Bavaria would be proud of. It’s groovy, man!
