Every brewery and distillery has something that they don’t just break out at any time of the year. This is coveted after, sought out, and cherished, even more so than their other products. There’s a special batch of something that everyone’s got hiding somewhere, and here at Holy City, we’re no different.

We’ve got a big fruity Belgian Quad for you, packed full of Carafa, Bohemian Pilsner and Caramunich malts, and to spike up that ABV, we threw in some Belgian Candi Sugar, because you know what they say, When in Belgium, or something like that. Hallertau Mittelfruh hops even out this beer and make it a malty, sweet, fruity beer that is worthy of earning the term Reserve.

Now, this special brew needed a special name, and it made us all think of a special place that only the most choice guests of our brewery have had the chance to drink at, our side bar that we lovingly refer to as “The Aqua Lounge.” Now, that’s probably because we only pour beers there one day out of the year, but that’s besides the point. When we’ve got this beer on tap, it makes everyone who drinks it feel like they’re at the Aqua Lounge again, so we decided to call it “Aqua Lounge Reserve.”
