B.A. Dark Rice Lager


We used Carolina brown rice in the malt build of this lager, along with Pilsner, Heritage, Seashore Black Rye and Black malts, and then we barrel-aged it in bourbon barrels for two years. The result is a dark, mild lager that has plenty of bourbon and oak notes on the nose and the palette. We have always liked barrel-aging non-traditional style of beer, like Lagers, and this is our next iteration of a boozy, complex iteration of an otherwise straightforward style of beer.
