“Our friends at the South Carolina Aquarium are playing host to the Open Blue Cobia Cookoff Awards Reception. The winner of the 2015 Cobia Cookoff will walk away with a free trip to Panama to visit Open Blue, but all the attendees (at least the cool ones) will walk away having tasted Casco Viejo.

Given the Panamaniam theme, Casco Viejo (Panama City’s historic district, from the Spanish for “Old Quarter”) is a saison brewed with lactose and coconut. At 8.8% ABV, it’s got some heft, but the smooth mouthfeel and fruity aromas will leave you dreaming of Pina Coladas and palm trees.”
