We love Folly Beach. We named Washout Wheat after Charleston’s favorite surf spot. We’ve got our beers in all the bars along Center Street, and our particular brand of beverages tend to taste really great on this beach (any beach, really.)

We decided to brew another summertime beer as an ode to one of the spots that makes us love the part of the country in which we live, and a place that we go to on the way to the beach, on the way home from the beach, or for a nice dinner oceanside.

This crisp blonde ale is easy-drinking and made for the warm weather. We used a healthy base of pale and wheat malts, and threw in some Hallertau Hershbrucker and some Hallertau Blanc to give it some balance and flavor. Come down to the brewery and try one out when the summer heat starts to get to you.
