This 6.9% ABV porter is a collaboration with the Charleston Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, a philanthropic organization of women leaders in the fields of food, fine beverage and hospitality. The recipe includes spices from a famous recipe by Eliza Seymour Lee, a free-living African American restaurateur that ran four Charleston restaurants during the Civil War Area. Spices include cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon.
