Flannel Pants is our take on a seasonal fall ale. We added the pumpkin spice, just like we were supposed to do for this kind of brew, but we didn’t use an amber or a darker beer like a stout or a porter. We decided to go against the grain on the archetype of “fall seasonal beer” and add the pumpkin spice to a white ale. The result is a delicious, light beer with all of the pumpkin spice flavor you’re looking for that can deal with the eighty-degree fall weather that Charleston throws our way.
