Holy City is hosting a benefit for the Turtle Survival Alliance as part of Charleston Beer Week 2015. Our event, “Drink Beer, Save Turtles,” will feature 40lb tortoises walking around the brewery (with trained escorts, of course). We thought an event this special benefitting a cause this cool deserves its own beer!

Gimme Shell-ter is a 7% ABV American Blonde Ale brewed with an all-time favorite turtle delicacy, blackberries. The fruit gives the beer a hint of purple coloration, and the light body allows their sweet goodness to shine right though. We’d like to think that, if turtles drank beer, they’d dig this one. Enjoy a pint and help support turtle conservation worldwide!
