Shrub Lite is a corn lager that utilizes Bloody Butcher corn, a local variety of malted corn that comes in a variety of flavors that provides some delicious, earthy corn flavor. We used this alongside of some pale malt and flaked oats in the grain bill, and hopped it with some Nugget to balance the beverage. This is our American Corn Lager, or Adjunct Lager, or whatever you want to call it. It’s smooth, crisp, and goes down easy.
