The Porter Room private event venue is perfect for all occasions from weddings to corporate meetings, retreats, rehearsal dinners, social gatherings and much more. Located on the same marsh-front property as Holy City Brewing, The Porter Room provides a unique venue experience unlike any other in the Charleston area.
The venue can hold up to 180 guests seated and up to 450 standing.

We would love to show you around The Porter Room! All tours must be scheduled in advance. We typically provide tours of The Porter Room on weekdays between 9AM and 5PM. Please reach out to [email protected] if you would like to set up a time to tour The Porter Room.

FAQs
You or your planner is responsible for all table and chair set-up for your event
It is required that all decor, rentals, etc. be removed on the same day of your event directly following your event time frame
The parking lot for the venue is shared with the brewery. Please keep this in mind as the parking lot tends to fill up quickly. Rideshare services are encouraged. Parking may be reserved for vendors only.
Please keep in mind that the brewery remains open during private events. We do monitor guests and provide private event signs for the venue.
All alcohol is provided by Holy City Brewing. Outside alcohol vendors are not permitted.
Any licensed and insured catering company may be used. Vendor recommendations can be provided upon request.
The Porter Room does not provide table linens. Table linens will need to be provided by the event planner.
Added fees: 20% service fee added to all beverage packages and 11% sales tax on all bar sales
