Amber ales are something special, right? If you’re in the mood for that caramel color, and all of the delicious flavors that are associated with it, there’s not really anything else that’s going to give you your fix. 

In 2019, we brewed Hacksaw Jim Chuggin’, a low-ABV amber ale for the end of the excruciating summer that we had this year. We were going for a delicious amber that was sessionable in the hot weather, but still scratched that itch for the folks looking for a darker-than-usual session beer. We named it after one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, too, because why the hell not?
