Casco Viejo is a beer we brewed a long, long time ago. If you’re unfamiliar with it, it’s a coconut lactose saison, and it is creamier and more delicious than the adjunct gods could come up with. So what did we do to it? How did we go so insane? We got our hands on some rum barrels.
This medium-bodied coconut-cream saison has been sitting in rum barrels for ages, and we’re very proud of that fact. Our pirate beer will be available on draft and we’ve got growler fills, too. This is precious booty at Holy City, so make sure you cherish it, and if you can, put it in a treasure chest. What you have here is Shipwreck Saison. It’s fruity, it’s crisp, and it’s pirate’s booty.
